Located at the western portion of the total Klang Valley infrastructure development, Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE) presents a pleasant alternative to the existing road networks. GCE forms the western link of the Kuala Lumpur Outer Ring Road and complements the North-South Expressway State Road B9 (Jalan Batu Tiga – Sungai Buloh) and Federal Road FT54 (Jalan Kuala Selangor – Sungai Buloh). GCE will be connected to the proposed “Lebuhraya Assam Jawa Taman Rimba” (LATAR) which connects to the existing North South Expressway. Upon completion of the GCE linkages and interchanges will help to ease traffic congestion at certain bottleneck areas. GCE will provide an infrastructure access for future developments between Shah Alam and Rawang and serve as a catalyst for the development of the surrounding areas, benefiting the community in the vicinity.

The length of GCE is approximately 25km. GCE have features including a dual three-lane carriageway with a 5m central median beautifully landscaped. GCE also provides a dedicated motorcycle lane and dedicated utility reserve lane on both sides. There are two rest and service areas and two weigh-bridges station along GCE.
